How much is my engine worth?
Not all LS1's need spray, Texas-Speed's H/C Stock Bottom-end 346 LS1 is in the 9's, N/A.

(Waiting for the "it's not a street car" comment
)And the OP's pile is far from Cam-only.. it's Stroked, Heads, Monster Cam
, Solid Roller..and I'm sure Bolt-ons. Engine wise, a Cam-only Stock Bottom-end LS1 runs the same times is what Demon 383 was saying.Basically it was someone else attempting to knock the size of Dave's head down about his Stroked LT1 N/A Motor Full-Weight Track queen..apparantly it didn't work.
Don't know man.. this is supposed so be about car racing..not prople with EGO's talking crap to those that are doing the same.
It's to the point of redundancy at the moment.

I'll be happy with a 10.XX pass with the T56, that is my only goal. I'm not shooting for the fastest it's got.
I still need to work out a couple bugs and then get a better tune in the PCM, and then I'll be back to surprising people who think LTX cars are all slow.

Good luck and enjoy what you have. I think LTX's are so hated on and not given credit, that it's actually becoming really fun to have a quick one that surprises people and shuts up some of the loudmouths.

Its just an LTX, so thats all it should run, right?? Even though it's an SBC, the opti has got to be a -100hp mod courtesy of the General.
Yea, I'm behind compared to Dave there..he said he's worked at GM for a while. I'd say he is probably in his 30's..
I'm only 25 and working with what I can, I think I'm doing alrite. My only goal is 10's as it is, not to be all out billy bad ***.

It's not necessarily behind the times, it's just there is very little aftermarket compared to the LS stuff.. that is why I switched over.
Yea that OPTI is a pain in the *** for some people..I was suprised with mine, it never had any problems.
