Well, if we're going total, I've got seven rotations at a total of about 20 months. Some of those were only 3 months. Plus a year in Korea.

Not all LS1's need spray, Texas-Speed's H/C Stock Bottom-end 346 LS1 is in the 9's, N/A.
(Waiting for the "it's not a street car" comment)

And the OP's pile is far from Cam-only.. it's Stroked, Heads, Monster Cam, Solid Roller..and I'm sure Bolt-ons. Engine wise, a Cam-only Stock Bottom-end LS1 runs the same times is what Demon 383 was saying.

Basically it was someone else attempting to knock the size of Dave's head down about his Stroked LT1 N/A Motor Full-Weight Track queen..apparantly it didn't work.

Don't know man.. this is supposed so be about car racing..not prople with EGO's talking crap to those that are doing the same.

It's to the point of redundancy at the moment.
I completely undestand the efficiency money, fuel and powerwise what comes from the LSx platform, I was just stating that the OP didnt shoot spray, and was never mentioned.
I completely understand that LSx's can easily be a 10 sec ride.

The rumble and the low-end torque is what is given up in the LSx platform, and I personally like the old-school sound all I am trying to say is the OP should be recieving more props for building one BADASS LTx!!!

Thanks for your service Merv, now back to it.

Why do you call my car a track queen? It is setup to DRAG RACE, thats what straight line racing IS MERV come on man.

Roll racing is for no driving, cant setup a suspension ricers. SO they can justify what they spent to make power...but not use it from a dead stop.

As far as making a stick run in the 1/4 just gotta know how, I teethed on 5.0 stangs, I was powershifting when you had green poop in your diaper.

Whens the last time YOU drove 60 miles one way to the track, made 4 passes, pulled the tops out cruised the beach and drove 60 miles home?

Track queen LMAO.

Merv was helping me out with my LT1 even when he was over in Iraq!

Depending on funds after college, I might do both a LTx and LSx T/A WS6!

Or just one FRC would do me! Besides that I need a good DD

Yeh but I thought mine was:

A garage queen.Sat in the shop because it had a MONSTER cam that required CONSTANT valve adjustments.

Cant possibly driven or run from a roll on because it is setup for drag racing(tell that to the 4 600cc sportbikes I have cracked from 30 roll ons LOL)

All this talk about LS1's and what they can do Those cars you speak of are gutted, big stalled, big gears, good suspension. It takes a lot to go 10.50 na I don't care what it is, hell if it was that easy every LS1 on this site should be running 10's slap a cam in and go racing. lol The same thing with LS1's on a 150 shot go to the racing section on this board are there some that do it yes, but there is a shitload of them that haven't.

Old School? What the hell are you talking about Old School? I'm Old School. 1racerdude is Old School. That motor of yours is no where near worthy of being called Old School.

50 year old 23* technology, what do you consider old school? A flathead?

If I can go 10.50's with this JUNK as MERV says, I should have no problem running in the 9's all motor with a 408 Ls based engine. Ya reckon?

And for the record 1noracindude told me I didnt have the smarts to get this car in the tens all motor on my own....uh well it did, way in the tens I must say. Will go FURTHER in the tens before its over. And cruise all over.
