Lol he didn't demand it, merely said a 150 shot will put a LS1 into the 10's, and that is for the ones that are spraying, alot of them aren't.
Not all LS1's need spray, Texas-Speed's H/C Stock Bottom-end 346 LS1 is in the 9's, N/A.

And the OP's pile is far from Cam-only.. it's Stroked, Heads, Monster Cam
, Solid Roller..and I'm sure Bolt-ons. Engine wise, a Cam-only Stock Bottom-end LS1 runs the same times is what Demon 383 was saying.
Basically it was someone else attempting to knock the size of Dave's head down about his Stroked LT1 N/A Motor Full-Weight Track queen..apparantly it didn't work.

I completely understand that LSx's can easily be a 10 sec ride.
The rumble and the low-end torque is what is given up in the LSx platform, and I personally like the old-school sound

Roll racing is for no driving, cant setup a suspension ricers. SO they can justify what they spent to make power...but not use it from a dead stop.

"Bolt-on only" LS1's have cracked the mid 10-second barrier my friend. While decently quick, Mid 10's @ 125 ain't too much to brag about. That's just full bolt-ons and a 150 wheel shot away for the average full weight LS1 car, stock intake, heads & all. Nothing fantastic.

Those cars you speak of are gutted,big stalled,big gears,good suspension. It takes a lot to go 10.50 na I don't care what it is, hell if it was that easy every LS1 on this site should be running 10's slap a cam in and go racing. lol The same thing with LS1's on a 150 shot go to the racing section on this board are there some that do it yes, but there is a shitload of them that haven't.

Old School? What the hell are you talking about Old School? I'm Old School. 1racerdude is Old School. That motor of yours is no where near worthy of being called Old School.
If I can go 10.50's with this JUNK as MERV says, I should have no problem running in the 9's all motor with a 408 Ls based engine. Ya reckon?
And for the record 1noracindude told me I didnt have the smarts to get this car in the tens all motor on my own....uh well it did, way in the tens I must say. Will go FURTHER in the tens before its over. And cruise all over.
