Default Finally getting the n2o dialed in. 6.76@101 (1/8 mile)

I posted this in the Nitrous section and figured I should post over here too. I finally got a full nitrous pass in last night. First pass was a complete wash. Blew the tires off at the hit. For the 2nd pass i made some adjustments to tire pressure and front shocks and it finally hooked up and ran the 6.76@101 1.48 60' on the 100 shot jets. I raised the activation RPM to 4000 to help get it off the line so there probably some left there. I wanted to make some more passes but the track was surprisingly crowded for a Wed. test&tune and we had to be at work this morning and the kid had school.

Thanks everyone.

sepno77-Are you referring to the rear shocks? They are Competition Engineering 3 way adjustables. I got them from Jegs.

AChotrod- Ohio Valley Dragway in Louisville, KY. I am in southern Indiana.

CamaroRacing12-I have jets to 200 and not afraid to use them

OutlawZ- I think I can get low 6's on a 200 shot and maybe 5.9x with some weight taken out. But then I will have to add some weight with additional bars for a 10 point.

well keep in mind that it's gonna be REAL hard to drop 7 tenths in the 1/8th mile from just another 100hp......

Low 6's for a 3400-3500 lb car takes about 650-700hp..... I dont' know what you make on motor.... it gets progressively harder to go faster the faster you go.....

I think if you're running 6.7's with 100 hp jets another 100 will probably have you running 6.3-6.4.....

even 6.3's is good for a serious 9.9x pass..... haulin the mail.....

Yeah, I may have gotten a little overzealous with my estimate. I think the 6.3-6.4 is a little more realistic. But I will be more than happy with that.

I will try. I am still without a tow rig so unless I am able to get a truck in the next 11 months I won't be able to make it. I am helping a friend build a Mustang who is planning on buying a truck and trailer next spring so I may be able to get him to haul me down there. Memphis is only 6 hours away from me so it's not a long haul.
