I assume you are refering to a stock bottom end or stock cubed motor. Need more info. A stock bottom end will be short lived at that power level and with stock cubes it wont be very practible for a street machine. Its definitly feasable with a 396 combination with a solid cam and stock castings if the heads are fixed right. The stock castings make a hard to beat set of heads especially for the stock cubed LT1s when fixed right. If its a street/strip car then it shouldnt take 500 RWHP to satisfy your power needs. Not trying to tell you your goal is out of reach, but you did title this thread "Realistic".

Forgot to add 383 with forged bottom end 11.5:1 comp and cam and heads and yes 450-500 at the wheels. Want to be a good low 11 sec car full weight of 3800 pounds with stereo

Fastfatboy if you dont mind me asking about how much did it cost for your motor? I prolly will only have about 3000 to work with but i get 40-60 discount on parts through summit think bout the cc503 or XFI 466 or cc502 which would yield the best horsepower? i do want it more on the low and mid but some more top end too

Not trying to be a dick, but 3000 bux aint gonna buy you the top end of the engine you need to make the power you want. By this I mean heads(complete), intake, throttlebody.
You wanna make 500 to the wheels or even 450 to the wheels through an auto be prepared to spend 10 grand before its all said and done.

Even 400 through a stalled auto with stock cubes takes a lot of planning!!!
