I know I have to cut the cowl back, but does it interfere with the wiper mechanism?

I am about to do this swap, new hood 1000 cfm 4 hole, carb hat etc. New converter(looser) see what this pig will do!

The only person that I know of that cut the cowl and has wipers is Taner. He basically left one wiper if I remember correctly. You might get with him and see.

I am about to cut my cowl as well. Gotta get ready for that 4-hole T-body myself.

what single plane are you running? from what ive read, if youre running a victor E you should be able to put a 4barrel TB with a carb hat on without cutting (its like 3/4" clearance) its when you put a nitrous plate in that you have problems. i could be wrong though

Its not the height, its the location....the carb flange is under the cowl.

I have a super vic, it has to have a 1 inch to 1.5 inch spacer to get up over my fuel rails for the throttle linkage to work. Then I have to put a blow through hat on to plumb to my MAF.

exactly what im thinkin do you go pics of stuff that your puttin in or atleast a mock up if your top end is tore apart, we might be able to get ideas and help out.

hell no i have 2 functioning wipers, lol!!! gotta have them. i don't want to give the cops or the Ministry of communist transport a reason to bend me over at the side of the road! believe me Randy and Bryan felt it wasn't necessary, I tended to disagree! lol!

to do it you need to have someone who can truly fabricate, I cut away, and Randy welded up
