It will be a 355 with forged piston, and rods. Be running ported 21* trickflow heads, custom le cam which is 23x/23x .61x/.61x. Ported stock intake, 58mm tb, and full bolts. Will also be spraying 175 wet shot. Race weight will be 3300 and running built 4l60e tranny with 3800 stall. The gearing is 3.70 and the compression is 12.1. Thanks guys

I think the engine should have a 10.?? in it but alot will depend on your suspension and if you can get it to hook. Also tuning for everything will be critical if it doesnt get you there keep throwing more spray at it till it does.

I can't see that running 10.0's at that race weight and with the rest of the setup but I could see the car going well into the 10's.

What suspension and chassis mods and what fuel pump(s) are you running, also what size and type of rear tires are you running?

Will be 9in ford with strange front shocks with 300lb springs, comp eng. rear shocks with stock springs. Adj. lca's, adj. phb, umi short adj. tq arm, and drag sway bar. Will be runnin 26x10 m/t slicks. I am running a single 255 fuel pump. I have been debating on buying a stand alone for the spray. You guys think i need it

Need it probably not if you are running high octane. Good to have if you are not.

You should be able to with no probs but will probably need 200 or 250 to get that 10.0

I will also be .2+ faster than his goal ...I see no reason why he won't run close to his goal on a clean pass

P.S. I ran 10.5 @ 130 with ported LT1 castings a 222/228 .544/.538 112lsa HR cam on a 150 shot. (500whp)
Its all about getting an optimum pass...he won't do it first time out...but he will make the power to do it

If suspensions, good weight transfer are dialed in and get it to hook, I don't see no reason why not? Good luck.

I made 535rwhp on a 150 shot on my 355 (through th400, 9", ET streets) and went 10.3@129 with a 1.4 60ft @3600 raceweight. I never dynoed it or tuned it in on the 200 but I did go 10.20@134 with a 1.59 60 ft (too rich out of the hole) and the same raceweight. The combo def had a 9.9@134-135 on the 200 hit so I think your goals are reasonable but you will need the chassis setup perfect and I don't think the 4L60e will be able to take too many of those 10.0 passes.
