Default CC Ultra Pro Mag 1.6 RR's Question!!!

I am being told by summit racing that the Ultra Pro Magnum 1.6 NSA RR's for a 7/16 stud WILL NOT work on my center bolt LT1 because they are not narrow body rockers.......

I know alot of people run these rockers, anyone running with a 7/16 sud SA 1.6's, and do they work?

I would ask them or call Comp directly if they are any wider than their Comp pro magnums? If not, then they should be good to go.

I ALREADY have Crane Cams 1.6 Gold Aluminum Race SA RR's and my VC's are already clearanced. He was saying the Pro Mags are widebody and I need a narrowbody since I have center bolt valve covers...He was just an idiot (no offense to summit) and didnt know what he was talking about. It just threw me off something fierce.

At a glance, the Ultras don't look any wider than the Pro Mags.

Can I ask why? Guys can run big solid rollers on Pro Mags, I guess my question would be why get Ultra's?

I figure if you're over working Pro Mags you needed shaft rockers.

I installed a set a few months back. For whatever reason I had to trim a bit more that usual on the #8 and #1 cylinders. It literally was a pinhead worth more. They will work just fine.
