Yeah I saw that it had the subsitute #, but was just shocked that they would quit making the pro's. The Ultra's were a little higher that's why so many people got the pro's instead. IDK might just settle for some used ones.

I doubt that they are tons better... If they did cut them, it's probably so we'll have to pay more for a comparable rocker.

if thats the case theyd risk losing potential business to another company with a cheaper/comparable product.

I'm amazed at the weight of the pro mags. when I pickup scorpion and scorpion gold rockers damn they are light. Yes I understand aluminum is lighter than steel. Then again I've seen a regular scorpion crack and two scorpion golds starting to come apart, I like that my promags have the snap ring.

Scoripons are junk IMO.

The Ultra Pro Mags are quite a bit better from a design stand point than the normal pro mags. Especially the weight, the Ultras are much lighter

I would go with Ultra's or SS Hi tech ones.

I have "heard" that the Pro Mags are being superceded by the Ultra Pro Mags (of course, at a slightly higher cost ).

It only "sucks" out of your wallet.

The product is supposed to be an improvement.

What are the improvements? Are they quieter? Anyone running them yet? I've been looking to replace my Pro Mags with some quieter rockers.

Just do a little research, not that hard to find info on them.

Mine are really loud, can't comment on how much louder. They're a lot lighter and more rigid than the normal pro mags.
