Default EFI 24X LS1 pcm conversion

Is there anyone that have converted to this system for their LT1 here in this forum? Just wanna see the outcome and results from this conversion. Something that I'm really looking into in the near future. Post up your results and input. Thanks.

Both myself and another local friend have done it to our cars. Hands down the best LT1 mod I've done in 8 years

I just got mine in, doesn't look bad at all, every things labeled and exactly like stock far as dimensions, most the time will be spent removing the old harness and routing the new one in. For the price, it delivers exactly how you would want it to be. Even comes with PCM bolts and injector clips already in the harness read to go, very well thought out.

Yep, that's the whole point, gets rid of the LT1 ignition for LS1 as well as the computer so you can tune it with what ever you can tune LS1 with.

Interesting...so will this pretty much eliminate any LT1 opti bullshit ignition issues we have...Guess if I start having them I will fork out the money and go this route. Good to know

Anyone have pics of this setup? Wondering how it looks lol

Can't wait to see the results.

Larry, your set up can use one. I think you're leaving a lot not being able to turn your beast up in the higher rpm. So around late May. If everything goes well, Im doin' it.

I hate wiring too, from what Mike has said, there hasn't been any issues in the 4th gens using the stock gauges.

Bolo there is a small video on the EFI connection website. Everything I have seen is there are 2 options.

Buy their already setup re-pinned harness or

Use their instructions to repin yours.

Doesnt LOOK to bad either way.

holly crap that is expensive. 525 bucks for reluctor wheels? Another 500 in coils? I guess you gota do what you gota do. At what point on boost dose the LT1 pcm become a pain in the butt? any boost. And the LT1 pcm is only good to what rpm?

Repin your harness and buy used coils and ECM, seems the cheapest way out.

The lt1 PCM starts to get stupid at around 7000-7200 not that I've ever had mine close to that. Opti rotors usually don't last long at those rpms.

One of my friends is in the middle of doing this. Here is his thread, lots of good info in it.

Im currently gathering parts for this as well. I will have roughly $1300 invested.

I have the conversion on mine now. First time in 6 years that I've had no misfire. So far, very worth it.
