I really can't see why people knock this cam. I mean, which smaller cam out there makes more power? I don't care about having a ton of HP at 3500rpm either, I mean do you race at that rpm or 5500+?
Nice numbers!

so your trying to say the your motor is immeditaly at 5500. thats absolutley retarded. you want power all the time thats what makes a car fast.

Your FQuick says 341rwhp/350rwtq and same 1/4 time.
I'm calling BS on you somewhere, are you running an LT4 cam, or just the RR's and springs?
Or is it a "stock cam" thats been re manufactured or something?
Also, you've got some weight pulled out, he's probably full weight.

Imagine if you had full bolt on's. E-WP and true duals, perhaps a underdrive pulley or 58mm TB, that thing could crack 360-370rwhp on stock heads. I don't care who you are, if your 150k LT1 makes over 360rwhp at the wheels cam-only it's damn good. Everyone rags on that ole CC306 and yes the design is old and it bleeds off compression, but the bastage puts down numbers time and time again.
Fast cars arent the one's who make good power everywhere, ask fast guys how many seconds of the quarter mile they spend below 5000rpm. The whole point of a high stall converter or clutch drop off the line is to put you into that higher RPM band. Next time you go to the track try to use your whole powerband and creep out of the hole at 1000rpm and see how that works for ya. Soak up every ounce of TQ below you can below 3500rpm. I not saying you dont need it, I'm just saying you want to make power at the RPM you spend the most time. I think my car spends 1.0 second below 4500rpm.

If I'm going to race someone from a roll i'll drop it a gear to get the rpms high up there and if from a stop I'll launch so my rpms are up there. I don't know many who like to race at a low rpm haha that my friend is retarded!
