Problem is there's no way to even calculate anything with the information given.

So anyone who simply "picks a number" is just throwing out a WAG

When in doubt...pick the small one...that is my philosophy. Plus it probably will work best with your stall converter.

I have a simliar setup mine has 31" 4.11 comes out about the same ratio with mne being budget stup. My heads are stock iron with 2.02 1.6 52 mm I just took to track trapped 6700 at 115. With prepped track it will do alot better since it was loose at both ends.

My race weight Sunday was 2800lbs still needs hood and alot of stuff in it. My stall is same, and for a cam I have a 232/234 I think .570 at 114

I run 1/8 and goal is <7000 rpm and 5.9 I went 6.11 with 16 psi so I think I have more left to allow me to reach 5.9. Since I am o ringed I can go 22 psi and controller is a 22 psi so it is ready. Mine is a 377 stock bore LT1. I use the stock computer and right now still maf tuned. I hope you will be tuning your own...

I am not sure your goal so tough to even comment on what you could or should look at. Will you run 1/8 or 1/4? Brake or foot?

I m foot and I don't use a 2 step yet, I may need it to get in 5's since my launch rpm is critical. Also will you use meth? IC size?

Look forward to hearing how your monster does. And as metioned size is less important with boost and aften loses more than it gains.

Good luck

My block has a girdle and my injectors are 93 lbs. I also have dual nozle meth running M7's in each.

I used striht -20 wiper mix and IAT were 80 degrees F on a mid 50's day. The IAT's actually drop slightly an stay constant for the 1/8th. Car has 4 link nd I run 31 x 10.5

I missed this post from you...since you want to turn it 7400-7600 I am torn. My 377 will do 7000, but for me to go to that point I would guess #1 but for the 396 you MIGHT need number #3

Personally I would go smaller and go with number 1 if I were you, and change gears to keep RPM ~7000 (Especially if it isn't 'capable' of 7400).

I am not familiar with the flow of that turbo but seems you will need ~130 Lb/min and I would want to keep the setup in the turbo's sweet spot.

I have twin 70's.

Good luck

PS and my opinion is worth every penny you paid for it?

Well then let me say it this way IF you are expecting 1000 flywheel hp (that is 22.5 psi) the turbo will need to provide ~125 lbs/min and of course that would need to be in the turbo's sweet spot!

Your choice will cost alot of money and be VERY disappointing. I would talk to others who have done turbo systems that WORKED. You want to keep the turbo in an area that it is efficient and that is not at it's maximum flow point.

Good luck
