Help pushin a stockbottom end lt1 into the 10s
I got my new stall in last week and so far it feels like it hits hard on the street! I also datalogged the car for the first time to try and verify my new lowered shifty points and ity looks like itys shifting at 6700
hopefully this will be lower at the track with traction.
hopefully this will be lower at the track with traction. Kind of bummed out, took the car to the track Friday night and the best pass it made was a 11.16 at 119.4
it was kinda muggy and hot but still hoped for better. It seems like the tune is really dependant or geared for cold weather. The car 60fted faster than ever (1.48) but just didnt have that top end charge like it does in the cold. I guess ill keep looking for more power/ less weight to try and make this a true ten second car regardless of the weather.

Get some adjustable rear shocks, (I like the SA QA1's) and an adj tq arm. Best gains I've experienced on a heavier car running similar times was in adjusting the rear shocks and playing with the TQ arm. Dial in a bit less pinion angle, and tightened the shocks up and the car was flying with mid 1.4 short times. just my $.02.
Hi Joel, I wasn't sure on the DA but I was hoping it wasn't good ( I needed some glimmer of hope after going through with that driveway converter swap)
I know you guys are right on with the torque arm/shocks recommendation. I lowered the back of the car 3/4" by cutting the springs and now every other pass it was blowing the tires away at launch
. I'm pretty sure the torque arm is going to be my next money mod for this car.

Guys im not sure if i can link it here or not but I had to put my car up for sale. Let me know if there is any interest here and ill sell it to a forum member for a good deal.

I'm going to swap out the cam for something new and see what she'll do.
