Thanks for sharing, Mike! So few of the guys who buy setups like these actually take the time to post and put up videos. I appreciate it!

that problem is being addressed as we speak lol heres the winter list:

strange race brakes front and rear
lexan rear window
manual rack steering
!Pass Air Bag, engine accessory bracket, stock ECM and unnecessary wiring, ! a few other things
Switching to lightweight alternator

figure i can get about 200lbs outta it wit no prob and still look the same and be streetable........

I'll get that 9 second slip on the street!!!!

Oh and Phil, I saw the new website from the link in that post that went off the deepend lol....looks great!!!

Still too heavy . Like Rick, he could have run the #'s he does with a fraction of the track time if he weren't bent on keeping the car nice, and subsequently 3400-3470lb.

I like the street videos, best. Power is easy, useable/livable power is sometimes a little more complicated.

Thanks Mike!

And nice job doing all this on an A4. I destroyed too many and gave up on them.

Sorry to get off the subject a little, but how do those small batteries hold up in daily driving? I was about to buy an Optima, but would like the smaller battery.

Nice results. Wouldnt expect anything less from an Ai car. Im glad to be in the same family

What is done to your 4L60e and who made the converter? I am haivng a hard time keeping one behind my motor. I think the rpm is killing it, but I see you are revving to about the same range as me

its a 4l60e with a Pro Street Elite Rebuild kit from Pro Built Automatics......its also got a manual valve body and a vacuum modulator for the line pressure.......its got a PI vigilante 5000 stall with a 5 disk lockup clutch for a converter......ive got alot of passes and some decent mileage on it and its running fine and im seeing 7800 every pass and its been as high as the rev limiter at 8300. keepin em cool is the trick......the heat WILL kill them......wit my new cooler setup driving im neva over 160 and beating on it like a red headed step child ive neva seen over 190.

I have the biggest stacked plate design cooler that B&M makes, its the 70274 IIRC. The trans never really gets over 180.

I have a Yank converter shell that has been custom built to my needs.

Is yours a full manual vavle body? reverse pattern? I think the computer controlled is what is killing mine. 3-4 clutches just took a dump on me
