As soon as I reach 15k I will start asking you for LS1 advice and ill just put my lt1 inside my 86notchback
Sounds good! You could do it ALOT cheaper than I did it by going with stock parts and all... I would think somewhere in the 5k range...

For 15k you should be able to build something much nicer than I have!

Feel free to shoot me a pm whenever your ready and I will try and help you out as much as I can!!

Well Matt, looks like I'm following your lead. My LQ9 is sitting in the garage awaiting it's LS3 top end. Goodbye Opti Spark (you no-good, rotten son of a...), hello coil packs!

LMAO, you're real funny fool! So, when are you going to finally get that land yacht of yours to the track and cut some times?

I literally have some Loctite right here on the coffee table infront of me..lmao..

Room is an understatement..did the Head Swap right there..took 10 min to pull the Trans for a repair, and another 10 to install it..no ****. I really honestly dont see myself owning another Fbody after working with this car.

Man them Heads should make that 408 come alive..I mean LS1 with really big Headers..

I've been calling it that because there are alot of people here that dont grasp that it's a 408..they just call it a Corvette LS1.. I'm like "Ya it's one of them.."

Pay for your gas? I thought it ran on the tears of GTO owners? lol
It's going to be kind of hard to start with it missing the intake and all.....

Hey, hey, hey Matt, I thought I was getting that sweet opti of yours! lol
I can't get rid of my MSD opti, so it looks like I'll have a cool garage gargoyle soon too...

BTW Matt, are you going to keep your K&N FIPK with the swap? I'm thinking of either the FIPK or the Suncoast Ram Air for my Ultra Z (can't find a reasonably priced LT1 WS6 air box, and I don't want the lid).

Well I received the harness the first time and they wanted me to run 2 separate harnesses plug into together and both LT1 and LS1 computer

I called and bitched and they told me that this is how it had to be done...Which of course I told them was untrue as Efi connection does it daily with 1 harness and 1 computer as well as The Merv

So they told me to send it back and they would fix it. so I did..Then I got it back the second time and they just took the connectors off for the LT1 pcm and left everything else the same..so 2 harnesses plugged in together...

So I filed a Paypal claim....After that happened they told me they would do whatever it takes to get the harness right... I sent the harness back again along with The Merv's write up.... They told me they would follow it and get it back to me...

Received the harness back again this past week and it *SEEMS* as though they followed everything except the water temp and oil pressure instructions...they wanted me to run an LS water temp sensor on one head to send signal to the ECU and a LT sensor on the other head to send signal to the Gauges (Instead of a 3 wire 98 ls sensor) then they wanted me to run an LT oil pressure sensor instead of the LS one I have....

SOOOOOO.....I sent it to Merv to check it all over and make sure it is all good and to fix whatever issues he finds!!

What reason do you need a custom harness out of curiosity? Im doing a turbo 5.3 swap into mine and was under the assumption a stock LS harness would work
