Default Popping and Cracking, No power when I hit the Gas

Hey All the dyno's in my area are down for some reason so I traveld 2 hours away to a pcmforless dealer and had him flash my pcm.. got home, stuck it in, and its acting the same way as before the toon except now I have no ses light on LoL.... When I start it up I can rev it and it does pretty good, just has some popping every now and again.. when I pull it to the road and just try to casualy give it gas it surges back in forth like it wants to run but it cant(still goes down the road but realllyyy shitty), when I punch it it acts like something is holding it back.. anyone have anyclue... thinking it might be o2's.. this is a fresh build.. mods are in sig. .... also was wondering, i have a accel coil and a oem opti.. would the coil be to much for the opti?

Check, check and re-check to make sure plug wires are routed correctly. When you are sure they are routed correctly, check them again.

Sounds like a fueling issue to me. Try putting a gauge on it to begin with and check the A/F ratio if you can.

o2 sensors arent used when going WOT.

The only way to tell is to put a gauge on it man. IIRC you can pull the vacuum line on the FPR and if fuel comes out it is bad.

I had my car do exactly the same thing, does it pop through the intake when you crack the throttle and rev up but not really accelerate? If so, its bad news
but you need to do a compression check. If yours turns out like mine, you have a burnt intake valve. Not all bad though, just means its time to upgrade those heads. By the way before mine took a ****, I had a dead O2 sensor that was stuck rich and leaned out bank 2 ( likely what killed the valve ). From now on I will stop driving it when its hurt, should have know better. Hope it works out for you
