Default Are those non name brand headers on eBay any good.. (ap1 ap2)

The price looks good and the stainless look is what's catching my eye.. Now When it comes down to it is the pacesetter really that different then these? The ap1 ap2s come with a y pipe as well for about the same price as I would have spent for the black painted pacesetters.. If any1 has those non name brand / ap1 ap2 long tube chrome headers how are they and did u run into any problems with them? Besides the clearance an the usuall issues you run in to with headers..

From the several "LAWLOMFG MY E-BAY HEDDERZ DON'T FITWAT SHUD I DOOOO!!111" threads I've read it depends on your determination to make them work whether it be to cut on the k-member or dent a primary. No thanks.
However, you want a bargain then e-bay headers it is...

Good set of headers for the price but more than likely you'll have to cut a small piece of the k member off to get em to fit unless you wanna bang on em and put a dent in one of the primaries. I cut the k member for mine I had pacesetters for a few years but bought a new set after muffler shop messed em up I had just bought the new set of pacesetters when I first saw these so I sold the pacesetters and bought the ebays they look better and cool down faster if you need to get under the hood for any reason, for the price you're basically gettin the y pipe for free.

save 200 and spend a few hours or more if you have the tools making them fit. otherwise spend 200 more and get something that fits right the first time.

No one is giving negative responses, were just saying that there has been 100's of threads on just this, that have asked the exact same question as you.

But ebay header will fit fine if you have the proper tools and time to make them fit if you get a bad set. Every car is different not all installs are the same. some will have no problems at all, some will have so many that they just want to give up. If have never done this before than you might want to look into some help. My first time took about 3 days working on and off. My second time took about 6 hours.
