So i spent last night and today putting my new coil overs on and this morning getting every finished up and now the car wont start. I have absolutely no idea what it is. The car was running fine before i put everything on. Any suggestions where to start looking?

Do the basic stuff first, like checking for spark, fuel pressure and fuses.

Also, turn your key on without cranking the motor and make sure you can hear the hum from the fuel pump.

You need to be more specific on what the car is doing. Is it turning over like it should? Ifyou don't have a spark tester use an old plug or screw driver.to verify you have spark. Without a fuel test gauge its gointo be hard to tell if you have proper fuel pressure.

Someone is going to say must be the opti since you swapped the shocks....lol a joke of course. Diag is needed.

Yea im not so worried about the opti its brand new not even 1000 miles yet, the car was running fine before i started putting the shocks on. I will be able to check fuel in the next few days (going out of town today), and i dont have any one to help check for spark now so that will have to wait too. But its turning over like normal EXCEPT for the hiss every 3 seconds, it just wont start.

The opti comment was a joke , everyone is so quick to blame the opti. Need proper diag before you can blame anything. But if the opti is only 1000 miles old then there could be someting there. If you were close I would help you

Is there a way to check the coil for spark? Cause i find it hard to believe that the opti is dead again. It was running perfectly

Are the grounds on the passanger side block tight?
Pull the wire off the opti and test the coil there. Be careful cause it will bit you.

The only thing removed was the master and the shocks themselves. But the doesnt explain why im not getting spark. My uncle tried to tell me maybe i sweat on the coil or the icm and shorted it out some how? Or maybe i rested my arm on something pulled a connector aloose.
