Default Is there more to my car than I know?

I have now had my Z28 for almost a year and after running several friends of mine I have remained undefeated. my question is should i be winning these races or is there more to my car than I know?

car Ive beat include

03 mustang GT, .20 over 4.6,longtubes, full bolt ons, tune, gears, weight reduction, auto = 4-5 car victory for me

70 351 clevelend Mustang fast back auto = 3 car victory for me

08 G35 coupe auto intake and catback = 4-5 car victory for me

04 Mustang mach 1, full bolt on, tune, 4.10 gear, 5sp = 2 car victory for me.

Should I b winning these race by this many lengths? All my mods that i know of are in my sig.

Sounds like bad drivers to me. I feel like the newer Mustangs should of been more of a challenge especially the mach 1. Take pride that you can drive better than them ha ha.

I'd agree with the Mach 1.... but the rest shouldn't be unbelievable. Most of those 4.6 mustangs are slouches. Heck, I thought the Mach 1's were mid 13 second cars but that can vary so hugely depending on driver.

All runs from a 20 roll. im thinking there may have been some internal work to the motor. the original add for the car said the motor was out of the car to replace a oil pump and head gaskets. The intake is painted red so I know that was off also. I didnt get he car from the owner that posted the ad on craigslist so I have no way to find out if anything extra was done. I traded my 97 GT for the camaro to the guy who bought it off craiglist. car is insanly clean and runs amazingly strong, i was surprised at just how fast it was, smokes the tires and goes sideways from a roll through 2nd gear, gets no traction at all even with the $300 goodyears on the back. is there any signs I can look for that something more was done? this is my first GM, iv been a mustang guy for the last 10 years, but after getting this car I think ill stay here for a long time

Well none of the cars you mentioned should be a challenge for your Z28,but the Mach 1 loosing to you is surprising.Good job though!

Taking it to the track would be a good way to tell how much power you are making. look at your mph compared to the mods you know it has and compare it to other cars that are similar.

This or a baseline dyno.

What head gaskets did he use as a replacement? A thinner gasket would increase compression which would help power a bit.

Regardless, congrats on the kills; but if you keep it up you'll eventually find someone faster.

Take it to the track - that's the only way to accurately measure the car's performance.

You definitly shouldnt beat a Mach 1 from a roll. Shows anything can happen on the street.

I know the Mach put down 289rwhp on the dynojet at brothers performace here in florida. like said already anything can happen on the street, we will have a rematch im sure.

How does the built auto effect the cars 1/4 times? Does it matter at all? The car shifts like a beast. This is my first muscle car with a auto so im not really familiar with them.

Not sure if it helps but here are pics of my motor
