Default My new Alcohol setup for this year.

It's a Ron's Fuel Injection Terminator setup. I just have to mount the fuel cell up front and run a few fuel lines.

Hopfully this thing will haul the mail better than last season.

We will see.

That is one BADASS intake setup. How much do you expect to pick up?

I have heard people pick up as much as 4 tenths switching to alcohol. I am more realistic. I am hoping to run 10 flat. I don't want to have to put a full driver's suit on and get my license. That stuff is hot as hell in the summer.

It definitely has the capabilty to run in the 9's. We will see. I didn't add the vaccuum pump setup like I wanted to so I know that I am leaving some power on the table there.

HP ways. It should add around 15-25 hp but 40-50 lb torque.

Cool, that's what I did a few years ago! It picked mine up in a big way.
I'm running a Toilet Setup about the same as your Terminator setup.

I installed a primer system, warm it up on gas and switch to alcohol for the runs. In fact I idle up to the lanes on gas.

I did see that you did that years ago. I looked over your pictures for ideas on my setup. I did not put my primer on yet. I am going to see how it works without one at first. If it is too hard to start than its going on. I hope it picks up in a big way but I am trying not to get my hopes up.

By the way good job at your division finals.

The good thing about the primer system is that you will get the oil temp up quicker before using the alcohol. Just use the lean out and it should do the same. There is no doubt that you will pick up. The 60's will improve for sure.

Will do. I was hoping to bring it out to this years shootout to try to give you a run for your money. It should run pretty good. But we found out that we are having another baby. And the due date is 2 days after the shootout. My wife wasn't thrilled at the idea of risking it.

I thought about e85 but was really concerned with getting consistant fuel. I have heard too many horror stories about it being different from drum to drum. With bracket racing I didn't want that variable included.

Good luck with your setup. I bet you will get it going just fine.

My Camaro in the pix on the left runs .3 quicker on Alcohol. Ron's toilet for Alcohol, Holley Dominator for gas. Uses the same intake and pump just change the bypass. Takes about an hour to switch. My car is hard as hell to start on Alcohol, I use Ron's gas primer set up. Alcohol is a bitch if you don't really take care of the fuel system. It eats Aluminum and hoses. It is not good to get on your skin or breath the fumes. Be safe.

Just make sure that when it's time for storage empty the tank and fill it back up with gasoline. Run it for a few seconds or so and you are good to go.

I run top lube in the Methanol.

Here is my finally running after a new cam swap and a refreshing.

I do run at Byron quite a bit. I run their bracket races all the time. I will probably end up testing there in the beginning because they open up much earlier than Route 66. I live 5 mins. away from Route 66.

The car sounds great. I love how crispy they sound on alcohol. I am very excited about getting mine running.

We are supposed to do the fuel cell this weekend. Then all I have to do is hook a couple of fuel lines up.

I'll try to get a video when we fire it up.
