If you have the tire, should make it fun at the track. Local buddy of mine has one for sale and pretty sure he is flexible on price.

Haha. I really do find your comment funny because he can give people that impression. It's all good but for what it's worth, he is a good guy. I'm surprised no one else jumped in with a comment regarding your question.

i think a 4k stall would be fine for you. personal opinion, but i'd still DD a 4k stall, so as a toy it shouldn't bother you at all

How about asking the guys who build stalls...

I wouldn't do a 4K for a street car. It will rip on the track tho.

I would call and talk with greg at FTI

I daily a 3600, i seriously doubt a 4000 would be that much looser. And with the cam, I'd definitely do it.

Since you drive a SS3600, you have the best DD "3600" that I know of. Depending on the brand, some 4000's are not street friendly. Even a Yank SS4000 is a big step from the SS3600.

Edit: My bad. I just read the entire post and saw "The car is not my DD." So my caution for a DD is probably moot.

Fair enough, but everything I've read/heard has said that circle D converters feel tighter. If it was me, I'd probably do it regardless if for nothing else, for the first hand experience.

My circle D 4c was loose feeling. Now I run the 2c for a nitrous converter and its tighter feeling. Both have been 3600 converters. Your best bet as stated before is to tell the converter company what your looking for and have them build what you want.
