Default Anyone repin LT1 harness for LS1 PCM Conversion?

I'm planning a budget build for another car but want to use the EFI 24x system since I am very happy with it on my bird. While the harness they make is top notch, I'm looking to just repin a 96 lt1 harness that I have to keep the budge in line. Does anyone do this? Please PM or post in this thread if you do.

Thanks

It's super easy and straight forward. You can look at my 24x thread there is some good info in there that can help you.

I've repinned mine aswell and made a thread about it. It was very easy just time consuming. Do a quick search on old threads and you'll find it.

I'm interested as well. Want to know what all I need to do this on a budget. And need to get things while I'm overseas.

U just need a DIY wiring kit. Cam sensor extension harness and crank sensor harness if u have a 93-95 engine harness. If u have a 96-97 u only need the cam harness and DIY kit.

Harness was actually really easy to do and you dont have to be a wiring guru to do one. Its basicly all repinning wires from connector to connector and soldering the coilpack power and ground wires. Thats it! Its very time consuming but you just have to take you time and mark down as you go what youve completed so you can keep track of whats done and whats left. Just got mine 24x swap running with a DIY kit.

agreed, it is easy, and you MUST have the DIY kit from eficonnection. just tell mike what year harness you have. And if you are 93-95 with obd1 connector, you need a obd2 connector too.
