Default subframe connectors

I was wondering what are the best subframe connectors I have a 97 Camaro and was wondering if the round or boxed subframe connectors work better

I've always preferred the box tubing. Truthfully though there isn't much difference in rigidity between the two.

Some are lighter, some are heavier

What are you doing with the car? Auto x? Drag racing? Road racing? Just driving around?

I got the weld in BMR's but now wish I just got a 6 point rollbar welded in instead. I'm not sure or convinced I needed the connectors and I feel like I just added weight and lightened my wallet. Oh well live and learn. (I drag race)

The boxed style subframe connectors are going to be stronger than the tubular design subframe connectors but you honestly won't notice a differnce between the two when they are installed. I personally like and always recommend the boxed subframe connectors because they give you a bunch of places to jack the car up and they are the best subframe connector available.

BMR boxed subframe connectors

BMR tubular subframe connectors

If there is any way we can help you out let me know.

would go 6 pt cage but i've decided to hold off on it for awhile

I had the BMR boxed on the black car in my avatar. The boxed SFCs are a little heavier but wanted the stiffer support. Car always left in the air and flat as a pancake (which is good). Bump for the BMR boxed SFCs.

Kenny Brown "double diamond" but you'll have to find a used set for sale.

These can be a royal pain in the *** when it comes to accessibility to the underside of the car.

If you ever decide to do a roll cage/bar these become extra unnecessary weight.

If they ever get them shipped to me I'll take some pics of the MWC chromoly connectors. Nice guys but damn its been 4 weeks since I ordered them!

I hope they do the trick, I just put a 9 inch in my car with full BMR rear suspension and after a quick test drive I've got cracking paint on my quarter panels...

I don't care for seeing the rectangular tubing hanging below the rockers. I have black round tubing BMR connectors on mine. They tuck up in there so you never see them unless it's up on the lift. Never any cracking, etc. It stands up and goes mid-1.20 60's, never an issue with flex, etc.
