Default Looking for the coolant recovery hose

Anyone have one of these? Removed the battery this weekend and a leak has destroyed my current one but the part is discontinued.

It's item #27 on the above diagram. GM OEM Part number 10188032

The metal part is not too complicated. Perhaps you could bend/fab one.

I may consider that if I can't find one here or online. I've found a few websites but they don't have pictures of the part itself.

I've also heard this can be the cause of a low coolant light always displaying.

Which part number in the diagram are you referring to?

Oreilly had the rubber piece about a year ago cause I bought one. As for the low coolant light check to make sure the coolant level sensor isn't leaking, also my radiator started to leak around the trans line fittings. Both of these were causing my light to come on

I found a member on here who is sending me the part. The OEM tube apparently wasn't designed to detach from the reservoir willingly so I'm replacing the whole situation. Should work out nicely.

The metal part of the hose merely slips out of a grommet in the top of the reservoir/battery tray.

That's what I thought as well but it works out because I need the reservoir/battery tray and hardware. win/win
