Default Daily driver lt1 build advice needed

My car is a 93 z28 with a lt1 and t56. It currently has 120,000 miles and is mostly stock besides k&n cai and a slp y pipe. I don't want anything crazy with it just a fun car that is still reliable and can still get around 20 mpg on the highway. I would like to pull mid to high twelves from the car.

Longtubes and a tune and a magnaflow or borla or hooker catback or a cutout and shift at 6300 you'll get 12s

Ya I was thinking about wanting to do a small cam but don't know what the best one would be. I see people talking about the cc503 cam a lot though.

Start with boltons. Baby steps. You need boltons for a cam, get those done, do research, then take the next step. You'd still need springs, rockers, rocker studs, guideplates, pushrods, LCAs, tires, torque arm, then you can start saying "cam"

If you only want to run 12s, bolt ons will do it. Set of Long Tubes like Pace setters, those are nice and won't break the bank. Set of roller rockers/springs. Throw some Bilsteins and Strano Springs, 1LE front sway bar, LS1 front brakes. Be a nice 12 second car that still handles well and is a ton of fun to drive.

Setting up for a cam gets expensive, springs, rocker studs, rockers, guideplates, pushrods, oil pump gear, timing chain, headers, catback, tune, cam, that's almost $2000.

Alright as of right now these are my plans for winter, any input or advice on good brands would be much appreciated. I want to get sub frame connectors, a strut tower brace, better sway bars, torque arm, shocks and springs, long tubes, and a tune. I also have c5 z06 rims that I will be putting on next spring with new tires. Like I said I would really like to put a little cam in it but being that my motor has 120,000 miles on it and I do not want to do a full build I don't know what all that I would need to replace/ upgrade.

120K is nothing if the motor is healthy. Don't be afraid to mod it.
