Default Finishing up my build

So straight to the point finishing up my 355 build. I have these 1 little hole on each one of my heads; passenger side is to the back of the heads, the driver side is to the front of the heads. I'm pretty sure they are sensors? What is the part number? Second I pulled the transmission so I can mate it with the engine because I'm going from the bottom. Can I pressure wash this thing it's filthy, know I should watch out for the sensors, and the drive shaft seal anything else? Last what oil is everyone running in the t56 Borg Warner?

can't see in the pics what "holes" you are talking about on the heads. they likely are NTP you plug. I assume you plumbed the steam pipe across the back of both heads. I think that piece of hose I see in your pic (PS front) is attached to steam pipe.

Yeah you can pressure wash the T56. Just use a rubber band and a plastic sandwich bag or something on the tail & input shaft end. Simple green and a brush are your friend

I use NAPA Dex 3 fluid. any brand DEX 3 will be fine. 4 qts

If I can plug the passenger side can I just bolt it off with sealant and tape? Anyone know the bolt size?

no, the sensor on WP feeds the PCM

the one on PS is for temp gauge

the threads for both may be the same...but 2 different sensors

the DS you just plug. IIRC they are NPT threads

On f body's driver side is the temp. Passenger is the plug. B body's are the opposite. I put some iron heads on my fbody from an impala when I cracked my stockers and was short on cash.

Ok I think you are missing what I'm saying, can I plug the passenger side with the WP sensor? And use the actual sensor for my driver side? I guess I can try and see. What is the part number for that sensor, oriley has it but it resemble the WP one?

I don't think your headers will clear a dummy sensor on the passenger side.. Might have to go to any home improvement strore and get the proper screw in plug.. Bring your old sensor to match the threads up to make sure your buying the right plug..
