Here is what many of you guys have been waiting on…..
World Products LTx Motown Block
4.000 to 4.155+ bore
3.4x -4” stroke
All LTx accessories
MSRP for this block will be approx $2800, our agreement is that the first 200 block will be sold through a single dealer that we set up and we can offer group purchase pricing for the first 200 blocks/24 months.
Group Purchase price will be $1950
Now the tough news…to get this project off the ground we need to raise $69,900 to cover the tooling costs. Yes this is a big number but if we all work together it is actually not that hard to reach. We will be setting up a paypal account to accept/track donations. Any amount you can spare gets us closer to our goal.
Tooling donations can currently be made via PayPal @ LTXBlock@Gmail.com
Once we can make the tooling payment, World has told us that there will be a lead time of 24 weeks to build the tooling, then an additional 4 weeks to cast/machine the first order.
I would like to thank Tommy Roberts, Owen Buchanan, and Tony Shepherd for the help in getting this project started and the commitment to reaching the point we are at now.
We now put this is in the hands of the LTx/racing community. Please donate, share this post, tell your friends....Everyone that has dreamed that the LTx could be competitive in all forms of racing, with your help it could be a reality

we are looking into creating a page for the block donations as well...I will be updating information as we get everything in place

Don't post often but have read these threads over the years. I don't agree with the plan. Why would people donate to give the first 200 an almost 1k discount? Instead charge the first 200 $2300 each and they get a $500 discount from msrp and you raise $70k for tooling. Seems to be an easier to swallow approach.
Or make it a term of donation. If you donate $350, you are guaranteed one of the first 200 blocks if you pay in full.

we considered the same thing....and decided that small amounts from more people would be faster than trying to sell all 200 blocks before tooling costs were covered. Most of the folks that are buying blocks immediately are making a significant contribution to tooling costs as well.

Paypal info has been added to the original post...we will be updating with other options as we get them finalized. Feel free to contact me directly here or through Facebook if you need special arrangements.
Saw this on FB today and came here to post it but you beat me too it. A month or two ago I posted the video here talking about this project but we had a few asshats **** all over the thread and it ended up getting it locked. Hopefully the haters stay the hell out this time.
In short, I'm ready to donate.

Good luck guys. I have a friend who's pretty adamant about keeping his LT1 hurting other cars feelings. You get this off the ground I may convince him to build a nasty 24x 400+ cube LT1.

I will be donating $500-600 as I was willing to spend $2500 or so for a block.
If the guys wanting to buy one right now do the same...that covers the vast majority of the tooling. The people that don't have those funds available right now can make smaller donations and have access to the block when it is on the market.
If everyone waits it out to see if others donate...this will struggle to raise the money. Folks have been clamoring for major companies to support this platform. The team working on this has been talking to World for almost 2 years to reach this point. We are asking for the help of the community as this is not something we can do alone.
