Get the AFR's and have lloyd port them and get a custom cam. That of course is alot more money. But it will definately have the best results. It is all in what you are willing to spend.

Side note: For a little less money the trickflow heads that llyod has ported have had some impressive numbers also.

if i had to do it all over again, i would of just bought some afrs, then later on had them ported. your going to pay the same to get your heads ported as you will buying the afrs, but the afr's have alot more potentional down the road.

oh and i would never buy an off the shelf cam again, ran the hot cam, 306 cam, and now a fms cam... no comparision.

I have saw these heads in person! Brand new. If you order these identical heads from AFR, expect a 3-4 month wait.

Before you buy either check out our website www.PortPros.com. We have some of the fastest LT1 cars around. I have LT1 motors putting down 500 HP N/A to the wheels with our ported heads and custom cams. We do custom head porting, custom cams and complete engine builds. I'd be happy to go over your project with you and make some recommendation. Advice is free, shoot me a PM, call (512-257-0222) or email. Ask for Harold.

Out of curiousity, what types of numbers are your heads putting down on stock displacement engines?
