Default cheap horsepower

i recently bought a 94 trans am LT1. it is bone stock with 84 on the clock. i want to know some quick and cheap upgrades for it. my buddy is telling me headers but i just don't know. what is the cheapest bang for my buck?

ive got a hooker cat back system and morso cai if you want it. 150 for the hooker and 50 for the intake plus the shipping. pm and let me know

Best bang for the buck is nitrous. A very distant second is a nice torque converter.

I'd do Intake like moroso, k&n there abouts. Then long tube headers pacesetters are the cheapest with a cut-out. Then save for a cam/head package.

Price per hp n2o is the cheapest as far as an intial investement, but if done wrong could cost you alot, and also refilling.....

But aside from a major power adder. Look on to bolt on modifications.

Here is a list

1) Cold Air intake
2) 1LE elbow (or delete the silencer)
3) Air foil (cant hurt but its a very optional mod)
4) Headers (definitly a must do, 2nd greatest choke point, the air intake is 1st)
5) Cat Back
6) Tune up (plugs, wires, o2 sensors, fluid change (tranny, engine, rear diff), fuel filter pcv)

This should get you in a nice ball park and at that point you can look at pcm tuning

add a cold air set up
be sure you have a good fuel pump!

i dropped 2 tenths with a mac pulley, hard to beat that for 60 bucks.
