Are you referring to the dynaspark?
If so, go here
http://www.dynotech-eng.com/dynaspark.htm
keep in mind this thing is not cheap at $575 or so bux. It's gauranteed for about 1 year I believe. I went with the LTCC which doesn't require you to take off your stock opti. The LTCC unit information is here;

My problem with the LTCC is that it still needs a good opti to get the pulse info.

My opti is throwing both hi-res and lo-res faults right now. An LTCC wouldn't do diddly in that case, I need a new opti anyway.

My '94Z's been down since Feb awaiting Phil's early style Opti. Now I see on his site it's mid April. Damn, I'm missing convertible season waiting for that thing, and I don't really want to switch to the dowel-style opti unit. If I do that, might as well change cams, as I'd have to drop the oil pan, pull & replace the timing cover, etc.

Ah well. Chevy. "Like a Rock". It don't move.

don't feel like the lone ranger. the last time i heard mine run was after an 11.31 at 121 and on the day earnheart's death. so that's 2 years. my dist will be here next week. and then to the dyno and maybe some 600hp pulls.

Camaroholic- have you pulled your opti off and tried to clean the optical sensor? Usually, it's just debris like rust flakes, etc that obscure the *eye* of the sensor or the light source. It would be worth it to clean it I would think.

I ordered the Dynaspark last week (the '95-97 version). That does mean I have to replace the timing cover & cam dowel.

The XE-230/236 from Thunder Racing with the longer dowel is now sitting on the shelf in my office. (gotta replace the dowel anyway, right? )

Just awaiting the Dynaspark. Got everything else needed for the cam swap & opti install.
