Default DYNO NUMBERS FINALLY!! 1st round anyway

Well...................after this long journey. We now have some baseline numbers. I must say the FAST XFI is very nice! Moe Bailey is one hell of a tuner I might add. We are going to need to come back and hit the dyno again for some final tuning. Dyno stopped recording at 7400 rpms even though we spun the motor to 8000 rpms. They will have to fix the dyno before we come back. So.........we have it tuned to that point anyways. There is much more left in it.

Here are the hp numbers. Through the normal heavy stuff. 9" rear 4.11 gears, 4000 unlocked converter. TH400. Motor built for nitrous.

SAE

522 rwhp at 7400 rpms N/A

air fuel at 12.69.

I forgot the torque #'s but I know the line was flat.

I will try to post the graph tonight. Gotta unload the car and stuff.
BTW...ramps fell off the trailer today while loading the car! Did not hurt the car .....just sucked trying to get the ramps back on with the front of the car on the trailer. Scott took a pic of it so I am sure you guys will see an OWNED post!

Thanks to everyone who showed up for support!

Can you imagine this with a 350+ shot?

I got your message but i'm on my way to germany so i decided i'd just respond here.... That is some sick power #'s..... Might have to say **** it with the sheetmetal intake idea....... show your power graph to my engine builder and tell him to put that damn Victor E on there.....

Yes the hp was still climbing. Too bad the dyno did not record up to 8000 rpms. We would see some nice numbers! The motor loved 8000. Smooth as glass! Portpros did an outstanding job on the engine, heads, and intake!

Jason......thanks man! 50 lbers. The Victor E works great! To those non Victor E believers.....

Scott...........Did you have to post that pic????

I don't get it? It is absolutely great power but when Rick Abare gets the same power through an LT1 intake 383 on stock engine managment(meaning lower rpm) people ignore that and think they need to ditch the LT1 intake.

1. What was his power?
2. How many have done that? One person? Thats not the norm.
3. We are not done tuning yet. I can see easy 540-550 rwhp when we are done. Cant do that with a stock intake and stock management N/A.
4. I saw an easy way to make the power.....I ran with it. Stock intake and such is not the easy way to make this kind of power!
5. We are not out to break any dyno records. This motor is a nitrous motor and has a cam for that.
