DYNO Results in
I went and got the Car DYNO'd today. Unfortunately, the retard sandwiches at the shop couldn't figure out their machine, so the Torque readings weren't accurate. I say retards cause they were a bunch of kids with some bad attitudes..
As far as everything else, it got peak 336RWHP, with a nice flat HP curve. It steadily went up to the 5000RPM area, and flattened out, didn't go down at all.
The Torque came in at 270RWTQ, which was way off, cause a couple of runs it wouldn't pick it up. That curve was nice also, it hit peak at 4000RPM area, and barely went down at all.
I know I have been talking about the LS1 Lid on the Car. The gain I saw with that was the fact that the power curves hit their high-point, and barely dropped down. With the factory Intake looking at one of the old charts, they hit their peaks, stay steady for a bit, and drop down alot before the rev limit. With the LS1 Intake, they peaked, and barely dropped all the way to 6400RPM. They were nice flat curves, so power was always there, no drops at all.

Polk Perforomance, Benton, AR. I am spreading the word also..
They fucked my Car up a little bit also, moved all my Plug Wires on the passenger side to ground one of their connections, eventhough they had the wrong one. I burned 2 wires driving home on the Highway. I am calling the Owner soon, letting him know what's up, cause his boys that were working in the shop were a bunch of tards.

It's all good, my setup is just a different idea..
No CAI here, this Motor was Dyno'd with the LS1 setup. I wish I had accurate Torque numbers, Memphis opens in March, so we will see what it gets in the 1/4.

Someday I will have the K&N CAI vs. LS1 setup dyno comparison. I will be baselining mine with the CAI and dont foresee any mods other than maybe 1.6's and the LS1 thing for a long while.
Nice run merv! I hope mine is right around the same numbers...

Yours might be, but you are a M6, I am a A4. I need a little more to show the same numbers that you guys get. If I had a M6, those numbers might be in the 350-360 area.

Nice #'s, but get that thing to the track so we can see what it really does. what are you shooting for, 12.2-12.4@113? back when i had my old 230/236 i had a similar incident on the dyno. new guy was learning the ropes at the shop and had some problems getting the dyno working. well my #'s ended up being 322hp@5700 and 425tq@4300, but the car had a failing opti and a few days later i blew the motor. So i know those #'s were way off especially the tq #'s. good luck!

When I get it to the Track, I am expecting mid 12's, hopefully lower with some DR's.

i hope you didn't give those retards any money. if they did a crappy job on the runs, not even giving the the accurate tq measurement, AND they screwed up your plug wires?!? oh man, i would raise hell.
do you think your hp reading is accurate then? even tho your tq was wack? im sorry for you i know how it feels to want a good dyno run and it becomes screwed up by some dumbasses.
when i put my car on the dyno it was a mobile dyno on a trailer and i was a local rice rocket shop but all the cars out there were supercharged cobras and mach 1's and turbo GT's. i was the only non-ford mustang out there. and the guy who ran it took like 10 mins to back it onto the dyno (to make sure the motor got good) and hot and he feathered the **** out of my clutch (to make sure it got good and hot too.) by the time it was time to run, the motor was at 225 degrees and the opti was good and mad. so my hp curve completely jumbled up at 4500 rpm every time. tq went like it should but i lost probably 30 rwhp on that run. i saw black smoke come out of the back and everything. my car NEVER blew smoke out on me before!!!
