Default tuning an lt1

where should i go to get a tune for my odb1 lt1?? ive heard of madz28 tune and ed wright, which one would you prefer for the most hp?

dont forget pcmforless. i havent really heard anything bad about any of those guys. Ed charges the most but in my opinion he's the most qualified. i'd go with Ed for the most hp. why not get a dyno tune?

IMO go with PCMFORLESS they did my tune a week ago, its the best 150.00 ive spent yet.

When PCMforless did my first tune, I had a nasty bog coming off the line. MadZ28 cleared that right up.

i see you have a 383. if you're tuning for that engine and you have bigger injectors you need to have setup that might be a little tricky to do through the mail without being able to check you a/f ratio.

Your going to get 3 different opinions good, bad or indifferent of all the mail order tuners, remember not all customers tell the tuner what they have for mods, or for that matter the car may not be mechanically sound.

Get a baseline from the tuner and then expect a dyno tune later when you get some complicated mods done to the car.

He has a 383 stroker, that's fairly complicated IMO.

I would definitely go for a dyno tune.

i want to get a dynotune but the guy around here that does it is very expensive and it takes weeks sometimes months to get into his shop, but he does good work. its redline motorsports.
