when i did my pacesetters there was no need to unmount the motor, they went up without much problems. Driver side was easy with the steering shaft outta the way. Passanger side the car has to be up real high to get em in but it goes.

for passanger sides its gonna be up higher then that. The header has to go in almost straight up. I've seen people take old wheels and stack them 2 high and put the car on them then put the header in. I did mine not very safe but effective lol. I had to put 4 pieces of 2x4 screwed together on the jack and lift the car up with that.

thats what i had to do. I dont suggest it unless u have Subframes u can put big jackstands under just in case. I did it very quickly, lifted put the header in had a friend hold it up and lowered the car back down to a safe height. My back bumper was almost on the ground thats how high the front had to be.

+1 the tires on all the cars I've done are at chest level to get them in. Good luck on the install, you'll get it, just make sure the car is real high....Trust us....

if you have that car up only 16-18 inches, it aint comin out cuz you arent gonna get the car high enough to get the motor out...... take it out from the top.... i did a full LT1 swap from the top with the intake, crank pulley and waterpump on and it wasnt bad at all

Take the motor mounts loose. Its not hard. Jack the engine up and they should slide right in as long as the car is high enough.

well ill try and get the front end as high as i can.

i can fit into tight areas so thats a plus.

i dont want to bother with jacking the engine. i want to get the old manifolds off quick because the drilling is gonna be a bitch.

im gonna be using air tools so thatll help me too.

I installed mine from the top. Removed the pass valve cover, raised the motor and it slid right in. It was alot easier then I thought it would be. Hell the install is the easy part. Getting all the old stuff off is the crappy part of the job.

Thats true..... I stand corrected. That part of the job is gonna suck worse than any other part. I hope it comes together for you as easily as possible. Just remember that when there finally in you will love them. Trust me
