Unhappy cracked SLP loudmouth2 resonator

i was just under my car right now-changing the fuel filter-and i noticed something was up with my LM2 resonator. i took a closer look and the damn thing is cracked right where it goes into 4 inches. i started the car and put my hand around the crack and there is a massive leak. i noticed it didnt sound the same a while ago but, my buddies convinced me it was just my imagination. now i know why. do you think SLP will replace it for me? its only been on there for a little over a year? has this happened to anyone else?

I just tried to check SLP's website for info on a warranty for ya, but the site is down. Hopefully they will replace it. After a year, a quality product shouldn't crack like that. BTW do you have any sound clips of that exhaust with the cutout closed? I'm interested in a LM2, but I haven't heard it on many LT1's. Good luck with getting your exhaust fixed.

are they LM1 or LM2? if SLP doesnt send me a new one (which i doubt they will) and if it costs too much to have a shop weld it closed, i might take you up on one of those. thanks 97.
