just to clarify: not all red top ford injectors are 30lbs... only the SVO/FRPP red-top injectors are 30lbs.

the 4.0L v-6 engines in the explorers also have red-top injectors, but are NOT 30lbs/hr.

This may be true but you have think in most cases that if you have Explorer injectors that you're only gonna have 6 anyway. (Unless someone has picked up two misc ones from somewhere else.)

Good point! Anybody have these could please read/post the number - see if mine are the same? Any other way to tell what #/hr rating injectors are?
If my Ford memory is right - the first four letters identify the part
1st letter is the decade
C='60'
D='70'
E='80'
F='90'
Next letter is the year
1='91'
Next letter is the car family
T=truck
Z=Mustang
etc...
S= Special, maybe?
last letter is the release revision
E= Engineering, maybe?

the next may be the actual date
E5A
95, January

Anybody have a Ford SVO injector or buddy that knows?

I just ran a quick web search. Don't take this as the gospel but looks to be right as I saw the same thing in a few other results. http://eelink.net/~p-nowak/EEC-Archive/msg02036.html
Based on those numbers, you do have 30# Ford SVO's.
