Default 2005 G35 Vs LT1?

Does anyone know what a 2005 G35 automatic runs in the quarter? I can't seem to find it anywhere...I know they have 280hp, but I haven't found a quarter mile time yet. I assume they will trap about 102ish? A friend of mine just got one and the damn thing felt pretty quick. I was wondering if it would take out a stock LT1...Personally, I think it will. I like the 5-speed automatic.

I know this may not be an appropiate place to post this, but I really couldn't find anything better...I just wanted some help.

Thanks!

I think it would be a very close race. A few bolt-ons for the LT1, and LT1>G35

G35s run mid-14s in the quarter, I believe.

I have spanked 2 of them in my 2000 regal gs, it would be a waste of gas running him in my z of course. A bone stock a4 z depending on condition would probably be a close run vs g35!

Watch out for the 2007 350Zs they made alot of engine changes and added a daul throttle body intake manifold etc

07 Zs are how they should have been from the start

I don't think you guys are giving enough credit where it is due to the 2005 G35. That is the year they upgraded the HP and their rather quick...They were bumped about 20 hp and weigh about the same as an f-body (if not less)...A better transmission and I think will pull past 100 a little harder...The auto is no joke, but the manual has an extra 18hp and puts down 298 to the crank.

No one has still answered my question though. Does anyone know what an automatic 2005 G35 runs in the quarter?

A have a couple friends over here...one has an LT1 Z28 M6, and the other has an Older G35 6 speed.

They were dead even when they were stock. With a few small mods, you should pull on him
