It's really going to be wire tucked when the carb goes on! I'm working on my wiring harness now. So simple and nice!

if you brush on POR does it dry with a clean finish or does it look like it is brushed on?

looks good in the pics.

Are you out there much? I don't think I have ever seen your TA. What color was the 2g? The only 2g that really rolls around hermitage is my friend Matt and it's red. Can't think of any other 2gs around. If it was red and auto it was him.

You got any plans to go to the LTx shootout? I'm trying to get a convoy from the East.
Another Ex DSM owner right here!

Got the 91 with 70k, mint!

Honestly Taner, I think it looks better brushed on. I did spray my engine bay though as it would be a major pain in the *** to brush the whole engine bay. POR has a great "self leveling" quality though. When I brush it on you can lay it on super thin and once it dried you can't see any brush marks. You can conserve a lot more of it brushing it on. I did brush one spot in my bay and it looks slightly glossier as well. I am using semi gloss right now FYI.

I did spray on POR20 once (the high heat stuff) on my headers and it was the opposite, it was extremely glossy when I sprayed it on. It looked glossier than fresh ceramic coating. It did flake off though since I couldn't get it on thin with the spray gun because you can't reduce it, and that stuff is real picky and needs 2 extremely thin coats on parts that see really high temps.

I'm 100% all POR. I love the stuff and I will use it every chance I get. My engine block is POR15, bottom of my car is POR15gray, 9 inch is por15, driveshaft is done in POR20, intake is POR engine enamel, brake calipers are POR engine enamel. Basically the only thing not POR is my heads and T56 which are sandblasted then cleared. If I could go back I would have bought some POR clear and did them. The rattle can clear blows. I cleaned my T56 off with gas when I took it out. Well I didn't finish all the way and I came back a few minutes later and the clear had gotten ate up then dried with the dirt stuck in it. That was fun getting clean.... Gas and other solvents won't touch POR.

Well enough of my longggg *** POR15 Promotion. haha

Hey don't knock on that clutch! It still gripped damn hard and barely chattered even with no springs left in it and a broken hub. Only sign it was messed up was a noise it made sometime when you first started the car. I believe it was the springs getting shot to the outside of the clutch by centrifugal force haha.

FYI -- the Spec Stage-4 is the same disc, without those pesky springs. Mine's been sitting in a box for a year, but I've read that it handles the same as the Stage-3. (I hope)

Thanks for sharing all the photos! A lot of us are having feelings of nostalgia... only now, I want to try some POR-15.

Interior out, ordering a wolfe 6 pt weld in cage shortly. Fusible link wires getting routed to the back where the battery is now. Using my old amp wire to go to the starter/ alternator.

Man Spec sucks. I fucked up a spec 3. It was sad considering when I did the car only made 286whp.

Jason at TDP laughed he said it was pretty bad.

But your right as shitty as it was, it only noticebaly slipped once and I could never get it to do it again.

Been trying to sell off some stuff and get everything I need. Almost finished building a mount for the turbo, started on the manifolds, etc.

Started on the torque arm tonight.

Need to cut some excess metal off, round some edges, little more welding, and wait for my polyurethane bushings to come.

Need to pick up some mandrel bends from summit.

This is what my manifolds look like !flanges and primaries. Still waiting for them to come.

I have my T4 flanges and head flanges on the way. Also have two 6 inch flex pipes on the way. I should be able to wrap up the hot parts shortly.

Friends paint is done. Starting on my body work shortly, and I finally picked a color. Think 09 camaro (transformers).

Pure Ls1tech lol
