What Fuel Pumps are good..
for the price? When i do get my 97 Z down here (just bought it), i'll most likely put a 125 shot on it, i've heard the stock pump may not be enough, so i'm just wondering what some are useing?

Walbro makes pretty much all the intank replacement pumps anyway so all your choices endup being Walbro. The Racetronix is the best executed kit from a fitment and upgrades standpoint so yeah it is THE choice.
I just wanted to say this before someone piped in suggesting the Granatelli or something which is the same pump anyway but nowhere near as good a value when you consider the wiring upgrades, new prefilter and all.

The stock wiring is too small so you are better off to buy the Racetronix kit with the relay harness.
I think the pump is also slightly different for a better fit.
I tried using another pump and building my own relay harness. In the end I bought the Racetronix anyway. This is one of those things where there is pretty much onl;y one good choice.

You can find the pump alone. However, the wiring harness is worth the extra cost, due to its ability to deliver high current at high rpm. Once you see it, you will understand. It is truly very high quality, and very well thought out. Bite the bullet, spend the coin up front, and you will never look back.

Actually I bet a LOT of cars would be well served with just the wiring upgrade if the stock pump is in good condition, but I think the wiring cost a fair bit more when purchased seperately.
Think of it like the engine and the stock wiring is like stock intake tract and exhaust, opening those up allows even a stock engine to work better, same goes for the electrical supply to the fuel pump.

I already have a Walbro 255 in my car. I was interested in finding one for my truck. I could just get a new stock one for it but even to get the Granatelli kit just for the pump isn't that expensive.
My car is just running the stock wiring with the Walbro 255. The fuel pump went out the night I bought the car on Valentine's Day of 2005. I bought a Granatelli cause I lived close to Summit and put it in. Been running it ever since. I didn't know anything about F bodies at all back then LOL
