I am trying to decide what headers to install on my LT1,and wanted a little feedback from some people who have already installed them.I know it is a difficult task, but I think it will be worth it in the long run.

Have you guys seen the headman's husler series headers. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...part=HED-65385
It says they are tuned length headers i am considering them when my pacesetters rust out.

I love my pacesetters, got them coated the went in so easy.. i was actually confused after reading all the header install write ups b/c they went in way easier than i ever dreamed. great price also not 'too' expensive.

Depends on budget... My pacesetters came with a Y-pipe and the price was unbeatable!!! I see Ceramic coated pacesetters with ypipe for sale by Summit for less than you can get most other header manufacturers uncoated... So, for overall value, pacesetter is my choice.
One thing to keep in mind is header length... I dropped my car 1.5" and my shorty-tube headers have been known to scrape the occasional speed bump. Long tubes just wouldn't work...

I voted for the Kooks they are top notch and I sorta wish I would have gotten them in the first place since they're stainless. I currently have Jet-Hots which are the same as Hookers and like them alot more than the Pacesetter's I had on my other LT1 because the quality was a little better and they were easier to install and only about $100 more.

Pacesetter is best value and went in Vary easy. i know there are better brands out there but you are going to pay a lot more money that could be used for other mods.
