Very anxious to see some real world results after they come out! If they are positive I will be swapping my ported LT1 out for one.

Any idea when you'll start on the air gap?

Because of some 'vendor issues' we can not give info or pricing for the LT1 HSR at this time. Hopefully, we can get this matter resolved by the end of the weekend and post info and pricing early next week.

My email if you guys have questions: greg@kljcorvettes.com

Thanks.

The short version will give you more in the mid range and a little less up top compared to the medium version due to the loss in plenum volume. It would really benefit guys with stock heads.

The reason its more pricey is because of the extra cutting and welding to the plenum. The runners are the same length as the medium version.

Awesome job! A decent amount more than I was expecting so looks like I'm keeping my ported stocker but cool that your helping advance the LT1 to new levels.

Houston... we have a problem.

It just dawned on me, I'm running a Nitrous Outlet plate setup for my spray. This mounts between the throttle body and the intake. This plate sticks up about 3/4" above the intake...

Could I get a measurement as to how much the hight has increased over a standard LT1 inake at the throttle body area.

I'd hate to close the hood and get a nice fat rectangle dent.

Yeah, fat rectangles aren't very fashionable. The medium version is 2 1/2 inches taller than your stocker. The best way to see if you'll have clearance is to use some silly puddy. Measure it to 3 1/4 inches and put it on your intake then close your hood. If the puddy hasn't been squashed, your good to go. If it does, measure the puddy again and see how much was pushed down.

If the hood will come in contact with your plate, we can get you the Y body style. That particular style tappers down in the front to run with the shape of the vette's hood. You should be ok with that one.

A big chunk of that price comes from the porting and the welding. I wish we could sell it for less but we have welders and a machinist on the payroll. But because of them, this intake will flow. And with velocity.

Understandable, I plan to eventually build a 396 for this thing and when that time comes you can bet I'll be picking up one of your stage 3's to really compliment the setup.

My NOS plate has the foggers on each side and is no bigger than the TB itself.

iirc the reason they didnt go with a composite mold was because it would cost 900 for an intake. i think people werent expecting the price to be as high. plus with no actual results for an lt1 its hard to drop the coin.

We've gotten 23 orders as of this morning. As far as I know, 3 have been from this forum. Could be more but I'm not sure. I didn't ask.

When the LT4 version is released... you'll have one more to add to that list.
