they are most likely grade 8 bolts

so you should be able to go to the parts store and buy them

dont quote me on it though, thats what they told me about my flywheel bolts..

I don't see why you will not be able to. Look at the bolt head number and match them up if you can.

Dont mess around using sub par bolts here these things are under tremendous load and cheapo hardware bolts are not rated for this. Do yourself a favor and buy a new set from ARP or the dealer and replace them all i would never mix and match flywheel or pressure plate bolts for the small cost vs the potential for catastrophic failure its just plain nuts not to.

Search flywheel explosions etc and read some of the threads. Guys lose their legs from such accidents

Whatever you do, if you're going other than GM bolts get the whole set so they'll all weigh the same.

I highly agree with you, I would not go to the local parts store. Get them from GM or get ARP bolts. If something happens you have a huge mass (flywheel and clutch) that are going to be spinning at a high rate with a ton of force, and put money that the bell housing wont hold (unless you have kevlar) Also I have heard that you are not exposed to use previous PP GM bolts over again.
