Default Info on Centerforce Dual Friction

So I have tried searching and couldn't find ant threads newer than 05 so here goes....

I have a buddy that is going to give me a good deal on a centerforce dual friction.

Is it going to be enough of a clutch to handle 483whp/568wtq?

Thanks

Its offered in a 12" for FI, N2O applications, or the 11" is for bolt on cars.

I have the 12" version but the disc didnt last that long, I ended up replacing the disc with a soft metal disc that has less slip and grips like hell.I like it alot.

I've had my CF Dual friction for bout 5 years now, been spraying it all 5 yrs. and can't tell you how many track passes lol.Been holding up great untill this yr. it's finaly giving out on me lol.557 HP and 637 ft.lbs. then i went to a 200 shot and i think thats what got it lol(and the 5 yrs of abuse).Just make sure you have your flywheel turned and make sure its balanced before you put your flywheel back on.Don't know if it will work for you,but i have had great luck with that clutch and im going to try the 12in. version next, and yes i have heard it will work with your stock flywheel as long as you MAKE SURE! you have it balanced.Hope this helps.....

the cf df is rated to have 60% or 90% more clamping force than a stock clutch. The stock clutch is rated to handle 350hp and 365tq. How true that is i dont know, all i know is i have blown up a spec stage 3 in 6 months and i will never buy anything but a cf df ever again. Also to put in the pedal feel is 1000X better with the cf.

Gonna run slicks at the track and want a big launch on 150 shot pry 500 whp and tq around the same area, I have read centerforce says the DF is better because of the more surface area, than the dfx.
