Rebuilt T56 or go 4L80E? good T56 rebuilders for high HP most of my mods are in my sig i was wondering if the T56 will hold up for alog time if i get it rebuilt? I am on my 7th clutch and i hope the Exo last for awhile seems i change clutches every year

A built 4L80 should handle the power fine and with the right convertor haul ***. A built T56 with Viper mainshaft should do the same with ease but keeping a clutch in it could be an issue depending on what you are using.

Good god! Over 20 years I hope. Just kidding. Yes and yes...4L80 is a bad *** tranny that will hold lots of power and be reliable (once it's built) but same goes for teh '56.

I bought a 4l80e. Ive had to many clutch and hydrolic issues to keep messing around. Not only that but I can spray more nitrous and have no fear of missing a gear.
