cold clutch wont go
i've got a 2000 t/a that refuses to get in gear in cold weather. im from texas, picked up the car in south carolina, and now we're in groton ct. i have no idea what to do with the snow.
starts fine, but refuses to get in gear. 3 days ago in ft worth (50deg) she was fine. now in the cold (20deg), the clutch feels like mush, and cant get her in gear. i checked the clutch fluid level and its full up, and doesnt make any unusually noises.
anyone with experience or a fix?

Is it completely locked out of gear in the cold? Does it have an adjustable master cyl? Mine was a adjusted a tiny bit too low but drove fine until it started getting really cold and when it would be left for a while it wouldn't go into gear until it really warmed up. Adjusted the master out and fixed all problems.

i havent checked for an adjustable master cyclinder
the clutch feels like a brake would with air in the lines, and even after she warms up for a while, she doesnt want to move much. ive never heard of anyone bleeding a clutch, or even if you can, but since it is a hydraulic clutch it doesnt sound completely unreasonable, can it be done??
it does lock it almost completely out of gear, i can try forcing her into gear, but it never fully engages. she will start to bog down and tries to creep foward or back. if i can get her to move enough, theres a bay with a lift down the street. its free for me to use if i can get it there

Flush your fluid with new and make sure you bleed it well. It may not cure it, but it should help alot.
