Default Where and what to buy

I have to replace my slave cylinder on my 04 GTO due to it leaking badly. I've heard of using an F-body slave and just swapping the fittings. Is this true? Also, since the car has 80k miles, I'd like to replace the trans mount. Are there any other bushings I should/could replace while I'm there? I'll be getting a remote bleeder also.
