Issues with stage 1 monster clutch.

Default Issues with stage 1 monster clutch.

Hey guys im new around here and to f body's in general.
I picked up a 2000 t/a mods are as follows
pacesetter lts,no cats, gibson catback, lid, kn filter, frost tune.
Has stage 1 monster clutch, 18 lb flywheel, tick slave cylinder and remote bleeder. Driving around normally its fine, once car is up to temp for awhile it will slip if you try to hole shot and will slip a little after a shift. If Its just up to temp it works fine though. It also doesn't like shifting at over say 5k. I was going to try bleeding it this weekend though the pedal feels ok., Ive heard mixed reviews of the clutch.Anyone else having similar issues?

I spoke with the guys at monster clutch this am, very nice and informative, Im going to pull it apart and see what it looks like.

sounds like either your master is going bad, or the clutch fluid
is heating up to a boiling point and not being effective.

monster clutch seems to think its an issue with their clutch, that the hydraulics wont cause the issue im having.thanks for the reply.

steve will have you lined out in short order.

Here is what ive got, I bled the clutch, excessively.Then i adjusted the pedal throw, and bled it some more. IT seems easier to shift and will shift at 6krpm without problem.I went out and did about 10 holeshots and several 1 2 3 pulls. It Doesnt seem slip anymore and the car will kick sideways on 1-2 shift.

Thanks to steve at monster clutch for his help. Hopefully the clutch isnt hurt too bad and will last awhile.
