Default good idea to change the mount and bearing?

I have a 98 with 40K... I plan on putting in the Stage 3 clutch from Spec, steel flywheel, and the master and slave, along with the drill mod this weekend...

Do I need to/would it be smart to change the Pilot bearing at this time?

What about replacing the Transmission mount with a 1LE mount from GM?

Thanks

Replace the pilot bearing for sure. You can use a slide hammer from Autozone for free. They will give you a 100% refund when you return it.

You will get more road vibration with the 1LE mount, but it will firm up your ride.

I picked up the bushing today at the dealership, they only carried the stock tranny mount...

"1LE" what does that stand for anyway? Is this mount obtainable at the dealership or do I need to be looking at the sponsors?

1LE is the RPO code for the GM Suspension and Handling package. This package is a very good neutral handling car. It is very difficult to do better than this handling package without spending a lot of money.
The upgraded parts included:

Front springs (LS1, 360 lbs/in)
Rear springs (LS1, 130-170 lbs/in)
Transmission Mount
Front shock absorber - Koni yellow DA
Rear shock absorber - Koni yellow DA
Rear shock insulator retainer
Rear shock lower insulator
Rear shock upper insulator
Left upper control arm
Right upper control arm
Left lower control arm
Right lower control arm
Front sway bar (32 mm)
Front sway bar bushing (32 mm)
Rear lower control arm
Rear panhard bar
