Default G/F Got Me B&M Ripper Shifter For 1-Year Anniv.!!

She got me that, a black shift ****/ball with "WS.6" engraved on it, and "something else that's on its way"!! All I can say is... I LOVE HER!!

Do you guys think it'll help down the track and any of you guys with it: what are your reviews?

Also, I plan on installing it myself. How long do you think it'll take me to install it, and is it tough? Anything I really need to pay attention to, or just bolt it in and go? I'm stoked!

It's a great shifter and the install is pretty straight forward.

I really enjoy mine...just be careful when you are tightening the bolts that hold it to the tranny. I stripped two of mine (yeah, I know, I don't know when to quit). The first time I installed mine, it took me about 1.5 hours. I took it out, had it cut two inches and reinstalled it, and I've got it down so that it takes me about 45 minutes or so to get it done.

While I had it off, I went back to my factory Hurst shifter, and holy ****. There is just no comparrison. The B&M is so much nicer...it is easier to shift, plus it gives you much better driver feedback on when it is in each and every gear. When you have it in, there is no question about it.

The whole "3rd and 4th gear threaded positioner nipples": what exactly do they do, and how do I put them in??

I love my ripper, make sure you can go all the way into a gear and then put the stop in. I hope that makes since.

Damn man keep that one locked up. Hell your lucky she got the right parts. Most girls I know would have probably bought an SS ****, or a shifter for a HD2500. HAHAH.

Well I installed it on Sunday morning and since then it's be awesome. I love the way the shift ball looks, plus it's a shorter stick so it's nice and slightly lower in the boot. The shifts are great and I can practically flick it with my wrist from 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.

Also, that "something else that's on its way" that she bought along with the shifter and shift ****/ball is the !CAGS kit from Speed Inc.

Ahhhh I love this girl!
