Default Need a new T-56.....

Where can I buy a brand new T-56 tranny and trade in my old one to be rebuilt?

I'm so fed up and I just blew my tranny for good this time. I needed it yesterday, so any place I can order it and have it within a week would be awesome.

Thanks in advance.

Lawrence

Hey Lawrence, how was the ride back home from Cecil? Got the procharger in, no runs yet though.

Anyway, have you thought about going automatic? You can build boost off the line with a slushbox. You'll be faster and more consistent. Plus, they can be almost as fun as stick with a fair amount of stall.

If I break enough T56s I'll make the switch. Just my 2 cents bro, take it easy.

Lawrence, as many tranny's that you have blown up, I would have figured you learned how to fix them by yourself by now .

Call D&D performance in Michigan. The cost is $200 for labor if they replace one part or rebuild the whole tranny. They are the rebuild house for Tremec.

They did mine last May.

I believe Westech also "beefs" up T-56's.
They use the Viper T-56 parts in order to strengthen yours.
Maybe something you wanna look into so ya don't keep blowin' 'em up!

Would you happen to have that number for D & D Performance? I'd like to give them a call.
