Labor sounds about right. What clutch? That will determine parts cost.

Sorry bout that...

Im just replacing it with a stock clutch or what ever the OEM equivalent is. IM not going the MCloud route. My racing days are over and I just want reliability.

thanks

They're routing you on clutch cost. Installation even seems high to me.

I'm paying 900 for Spec 3 Clutch, Billet Steel Flywheel, Upgraded Slave and Install.

not to mention you can buy a Z06 clutch and flywheel for about $360.

Sounds high to me. Getting the clutch in my Sonoma replaced now. New Master/slave cylinders and new clutch all AC Delco parts plus fluid change in tranny is going to be $1050 installed.

$900 for stock OEM replacement parts? You can get a Textralia clutch(one of the top 2 clutches people reccommend as the BEST) package, which comes with the new slave, for $900 or so.

OEM replacement=z06 clutch. You can get the z06 clutch, new pressure plate, and new flywheel for $450. They are screwing you big time on parts and I've personally never seen an install for clutch/slave over $250.

900 is definitely too high for just the parts. I got my spec stage 3, resurfaced flywheel, and install all for $825. The clutch itself was $400. Your install price is good, but they're definitely overcharging for the parts.

300 is pretty cheap for a clutch install, the south is dirt cheap for labor rates, compared to the northeast, i mean just check out the northeast sponsors and the southern sponsors.
